The deep blue/black almost iridescent patina on the backside of the shell has been carefully polished and heat applied for greater colour depth and longevity.
The highly polished silver inside sets off the black perfectly.
You can make a stunning pendant by adding it to your own chain, or buy it complete as a silver rope chain necklace or drop earrings.
